I’ve got ’em, oh how I’ve got ’em. No zip, no energy, no motivation. Just a mournful sigh as I gaze at the mountains of laundry and Christmas decorations that didn’t make it up to the attic in the first round. And also, taxes. Blah.
But hark, what light from yon window breaks. Or something. It’s a Bloggy Giveaway! Last time I entered about 90% of the contests and won 3! Woo-hoo! I’ve never heard his music, he sounds great. I’ll be checking him out. Count me as entered and thank you for the nice giveaway!:)
Ah how to fight the winter blues??? Sometimes I find getting a haircut makes the difference and perks me up a bit. If that’s not enough doing something for someone else helps.
Thanks!
I beat the blues by making sure I get out for walks when the sun is shining. Even if I have to bundle up, just seeing the sun makes me feel better.
great giveaway! thanks!
and i eat chocolate lol!
I love Keaggy…so does my son, who happens to be a guitarist. We would both love to win this CD!
Phil Keaggy is great!! Thanks for the chance to win!!

Great giveaway! Winter blahs??…travel to a sunny, warm place. Can’t afford that….have a silly sock day with your kids– go and pick out some fun, funky socks and chose a day to wear them. It’s a fun little diversion for a day. 🙂
Sometimes putting some suntan lotion on in the mornings helps perk one out of the winter doldrums! (Coppertone works good!) Thanks for the giveaway!
P.S. It’s 10 below zero here today! BRRRRRRR
I believe I’ve heard of him, but never heard his music! One way I fight the winter blues is to have a game night with my family! We make snacks and drinks and play our favorite games!
Fighting the winter blues… enter the Bloggy Giveaways. I love Steve Bell (kind of like Phil Keagy) and you probably would like him too!
Pickmepickme!
Ha ha! The winter blues… actually I’ve got them too. Just the other day, I tried the new Diet Pepsi Max (Wake Up People!), and it did give me just enough energy to go load the washing machine.
Phil Keaggy is awesome!

Don’t enter me in the contest because I already have this album. Just wanted to say it’s a great album!
I don’t really fight the winter blues. Maybe that comes from growing up in Canada, I don’t know. My solution is to stock up on a bunch of great reading material, cozy slippers, chocolate, and whatever else makes you happy before the snow begins to fly and then just set up shop on the couch in front of the fire for the duration. I would love to be entered in your drawing.

The best ways to fight the blues are to go for a walk, spend time with someone who makes you laugh, read a funny book.

I’m always up for some new music! Fighting the winter blues can be hard… have you tried making a big chain with construction paper, each ring a day until spring? Then you can tear them off each day, feeling as though you are ripping apart winter? Too extreme… then maybe just a nice blanket and cup of hot cocoa…
(Not to sway you or anything… but I entered almost every contest last time too and didn’t win a thing!)
I’d like to hear his music. Thank you for hosting! Leinani
BTW, I like your blog title!

Love Phil K!
We don’t get too much winter weather here in NM (although we did have a white Thanksgiving!). Just when the cold gets to be too much, we have a 60 degree day.

We like Phil Keaggy, too, but maybe not as much as you. 😉
I don’t know how to cure the winter blahs. I’m right there with you, except we are still recovering from the fever flu of death. My kids are really sick when they tuck themselves in for naps or fall asleep on the recliner. Poor littles.
Your post did make me smile, so maybe knowing I am moaning with you will help. No? Well, spring is coming! 🙂
Anyway, thanks for the opportunity to win a really cool CD.
GREAT giveaway! Count me in!
Thanks!!
Sounds lovely! Thanks so much for doing this!

I kick the winter blues by curling up with a nice hot cup of tea and a good book or movie!
Or I invite the whole family to play games like Pictionary or Mad Gab or we go ice skating and sledding.
There’s lots to do and fun to be had in winter. Can you guess that it’s my favorite time of year? LOL
Thanks for the giveaway:)
The CD sounds great. It’s easy to beat the winter blues when you live in the desert and it’s sunny year round, so I guess my tip is for you to move. 😀 Thanks for the contest!
Phil Keaggy played at our church a Christmas ago. Amazing!
Cure for winter blahs? chocolate, but not too much…:)
This will probably never happen again. My dh and I just got back from a cruise with his parents. (They paid.) Talk about beating winter blues! Please enter me! ernestsgirl82@aol.com
I almost never recoginize an artist, so I wouldn’t know this guy. However, my husband LOVES acoustic guitar music, and so does my dd. They would be thrilled if I won.
I love Phil Keaggy! Thanks for spreading the word about him. I don’t own any of his music so I would love to win this. Thanks!
I’m one of the sad ones who does not know Phil Keaggy but maybe I’ll win and get to know Phil!
Winter blue – we have indoor picnics, embrace the cold and walk anyway (bundled well!),use the indoor time for projects that will go to the wayside when the sun comes out again, and connect with blog friends for a little uplift and cheer!

Yay, PK! We have Lights of Madrid, and it’s wonderful. Great giveaway idea!
One of the hardest things for me about winter is the dreary days, so if it’s sunny, I make sure I soak up sunshine indoors (via the windows). Great music helps, too!
Enjoying every bit of sunshine I can. Even if it is just sitting by a window, I love the feel of sunlight on my face in the winter.
I’m playing trains with the little guy today, but my teenager is home sick. Ugh. So, we’ve got some winter blues here, too. I guess I need to hit the treadmill.
I’d love to be entered.
We love Phil Keaggy! Our daughter’s middle name is Addison, after the song Addison’s Walk!

Beating the Blues: Bake something yummy with the family!
Sounds like a great CD! For the blues–chocolate and a good book help–and being out in the sunshine, even if I don’t want to!
Too, too cool! I loved looking around your blog. Thank you for your great offer!
I make it a point to sit in the sun as soon as possible in the morning… Thanks for the contest!
Winter? It’s winter? Uh, sorry, we’re from So. Cal. Just kidding – I plan my garden to get some excitement up. 🙂
i love Keaggy! Hm… the winter blahs, eh? A nice long hot bath with a good book? The way I do it is to just sit at my piano and play some Joplin.
I love Phil Keaggy! And winter blahs – just think of all the cinnamon rolls and hot cocoa you can have now that you’ll cringe from in the summer!
Please count me in! Thanks!
Thank-you for your generosity! Please include me!

I struggle with SAD each winter, but this winter, I’ve managed to not sink (thank you, Lord). When the sun peeks out, absorb those rays even if it’s by sitting in the window. Eat well (it’s made a huge difference), get enough sleep, basically, take care of you. Play music you enjoy, drink tea, do things that make you happy. Hope that helps. 🙂
I’d love this CD.
Thanks for the chance to win! 🙂

Paint your toenails. Seriously, on a really dreary day, turn up the heat, put on shorts and a tee and paint your toenails. Go barefoot and pretend spring is just around the corner!

Great prize! We were getting a little stir crazy ourselves today, but I decided to take my 3 year old to a pet store and we had so much fun with all the animals. Thanks for entering me.
Nice prize! Many thanks for hosting a giveaway!
To beat the blues, I love to get out of the house. Anywhere–just get out. I’m a SAHM, and sometimes I get cabin fever so bad. Just getting out and being with the public is generally a spirit-lifter!
