I am seriously considering a name change. For my blog, not myself. After 34 years, I’m too set in ways to change my name. I’d never answer. (Although I do answer to my maiden name, which is also a girl’s name. I had a boss that, in 6 years, never quite got last-name-not-first-name thing figured out. Bless his heart.)
Anyway, back to the issue at hand. I’ve become increasingly dissatisfied with “Question the Culture.” It’s a wee bit pretentious. (“Wee bit, ha!” you say. “Phthhht,” I say.) Originally, I thought I would be taking a more thoughtful, analytical look at a variety of cultural issues. Like this. Or this. Or even this.
Questioning the culture of Spam, sharks and my own parenting? Yeah, so the title isn’t exactly apt. But of course, changing the title is a hassle and might cause confusion and heaven knows I’m confused enough.
However, if Dana can change her blog name from Simple Pleasures to A Very Nearly Tea, then I can change mine to . . . something. I’m taking suggestions. I have previously considered these Alice quotes as inspiration. I can’t seem to make it work for me. Some other ideas: “Oddly Said” my twitter name and also not too far off what I actually do write, or “Raving at the Laundry” because I seem to spend an inordinate time doing that.
So what do you think?

I’m not a big fan of change these days.
And, actually, I think your Spam post is a way of questioning the culture.
But I’ll read you whatever your blog name.
Oh, dealing with blog angst is never so easy. I’ve had a bit of it myself lately. I’m trying to ignore it.
But yeah, I do like Oddly Said. But maybe that’s because I’m so happy you joined Twitter.
