Book Meme!

Seen at Anne’s who saw at the Commonroom (whose posts aren’t showing up in my Bloglines. Hmmm.) The Headmistress notes that on average adults have only read 6 of these. I find that horribly depressing. Also, I need to reread less and read new (old-new) books more. Seriously, I read 3 Jane Austen books last week. That I’ve read multiple times before. Then I watched that horrible new Pride and Prejudice. I need to watch the A&E version just to scrub my brain.

Ahem, the meme:

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read (films don’t count).
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Tag somebody if you like. Only I’m not going to do that. This is an open invite, no RSVP needed. Play if you want. Or not.

Bloglines has been weird for me lately, and I think I’m going to switch to Google’s reader.

Yes, it is a good time for a re-read of 1984. My kids and I are going to read it soon.
